When I first saw a YouTube video about why belt drives are better than chains, I wondered how I could get one on my Super73 S2. I can’t remember if someone had mentioned Veer in a video or I found them after a quick Google search. Not knowing much about installing belt drives, I knew Veer was the only solution for me.
I placed my order, including the riveter, and Veer support reached out to double check if I really needed it. I didn’t know the kit included one. Customer service had me impressed out of the gate.
The kit arrived in packaging that was minimal and recyclable. I liked that too.
I was able to do 95% of the install on my own. I did have to run my rear tire down to a bike shop to remove my rear cassette. I knew what I need to do, just didn’t have the right tool. Veer has made the setup as easy as it can be. The rest depends on your bike and comfortability in doing stuff like this.
Now I’m all set up, I have a low maintenance drive train on my bike and it sets it apart from all other Super73s out there. I couldn’t be more pleased with my new setup. The bike feels more solid and the pedaling feels more responsive.
